Terms of use

Quiz the Map is a free geography quiz. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Using the site

You may use Quiz the Map for free for personal, educational and classroom use. Please don’t copy the site, scrape it in bulk, or try to disrupt it.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep maps, names, capitals and figures correct, but the content is provided “as is” for learning and fun. Some borders and names are disputed; the maps are not a statement on any territorial dispute.

The site is paid for by ads from Google. See the privacy policy for how cookies are used.

Third-party content

Map data comes from Natural Earth (public domain). Flag images come from flag-icons (MIT licence).

Changes

We may update the site and these terms at any time. The latest version is always on this page.
