Geography quizzes for your classroom

Quiz the Map is free and works on phones, tablets and computers. Create a private class leaderboard in a few seconds, share one link, and your students can compete on any of our 60+ map quizzes.

How it works

1. Create a class. Open the Leaderboard, scroll to Classes & teachers, type a class name and press Create class. You get a short code and a link.

2. Share the link. Post the link in your class channel or write the code on the board. Students open it and type their first name. No accounts, no email addresses.

3. Play and compare. Every quiz a student finishes is saved to your class board as well as the global one. Switch the leaderboard to your class to see the top scores per quiz, plus streaks, answers and perfect games.

What students can practise

Countries, capitals, flags and outlines for every continent and world region; states and provinces for 20+ countries; plus oceans, seas, straits, rivers, lakes, mountain ranges, islands, peninsulas, volcanoes, waterfalls and famous landmarks.

Good to know

Students only enter a first name or nickname, which is shown on the leaderboard. Results are stored on the student's own device, and only names and scores they choose to submit are shared. See our privacy policy.
